Our temporary tattoos (black/white/colour) can typically last between 3-5 days and beyond depending on care and location. Metallic colours (gold, silver, rose gold) will typically last 1-3 days. Our longest record (with extra care) is 2 weeks with only some minor fading!

We have applied dozens of temporary tattoos on ourselves for testing purposes and so far have not had any stubborn marks or stains that can’t be removed with a bit of baby oil and a bit of rubbing. Unlike other kinds of temporary tattoos that uses dye (such as Henna) or those that pierces the skin, our temporary tattoos is a printed layer that sits on top of the skin.

Yes, our temporary tattoos are made with soy ink and conform to industry safety standards. We only use press-on water transfer decals, which is a layer that sits on top of the skin so there are no skin piercing or puncture. Just to be extra safe we don’t recommend use for children under 3 years of age due to irritation or sensitive skin. You may contact us for more information on the full list of ingredients used.

We’re glad you asked! Applying temporary tattoos only takes half a minute so here are the steps:

Cut out the tattoo of your choice (you don’t have to follow the outline exactly) and remove the clear plastic sheet.

Place the tattoo face down on your skin & wet the tattoo thoroughly with a cloth, sponge or running water from a tap.

Press firmly down on the tattoo for 10-20 seconds, then remove white backing paper and allow the tattoo to dry.

That’s it! Enjoy your temporary tattoo!

Removing a temporary tattoo couldn’t be simpler! Just gently rub off the tattoo with some makeup remover or soap & water.

Our temporary tattoos comes in different typical paper sizes such as A2, A3, etc. but custom designs can be made in any size you desire!

Print-at-home or DIY using blank temporary tattoo papers have serious drawbacks:

1. For DIY, you have to carefully cut along the outline of the tattoo after printing because the adhesive is applied on the entire paper. Without careful cutting it will look like a big patch of transparent glue on your skin.
2. Our professionally-made temporary tattoos can be roughly cut and applied, because the adhesive is applied only on areas where there are colours.
3. It takes a few tries to get it right. Home printer ink is expensive and the quality of the printing (colours, lines, etc.) can vary depending on printer model, ink used, and settings. Also your home printer might not be calibrated to print specifically on blank temporary tattoo paper, which produces splotches of ink and blurring.
4. Home printer ink has issues with certain colours, such as yellow and lighter colours. When applied the colours are not apparent and unusable.
5. We can produce gold, silver, and rose gold temporary tattoos, which is not possible with a home printer.
